Limliwa Beach Resort has its own restaurant onsite called Talisay Restaurant. The eatery is famous for serving the freshest seafood dishes. Guests can also bring their own food and cook it at the common grilling area.
What sets the resort apart is its Beach Bar. As the name suggests, the bar is located near the shoreline where tables and bean bags are set up for guests to relax. I personally recommend the bar’s Blue Lagoon and Tequila Sunrise.

How To Get To Liwliwa Beach
Liwliwa is located in San Felipe, Zambales. While a private car is the best transportation option to get to San Felipe Town, there is a way to get to Zambales from Metro Manila by bus.
From Caloocan, Cubao, and Pasay, travelers can take a bus bound for Iba or Sta. Cruz, Zambales. These buses will pass through the San Felipe town proper where travelers can alight and take a tricycle directly to Sitio Liwliwa. In most cases, the drivers could drop you off at the different accommodations in the area if you give them the name of the resort.
Bonus: Where To Eat In Liwliwa
There are plenty of restaurants and eateries serving good food in Liwliwa. Here are some of the most popular choices.
Board Culture
Aside from being a beachfront resort, Board Culture offers a variety of sumptuous meals at an affordable price. Each dish is prepared delicately and uses imported seasonings and ingredients, making each bite worthy of its price.
Board Culture offers vegan options, steaks, wagyu, pasta, burgers, and inasal.
Note: Board Culture temporarily closed its doors in December. Please refer to their Facebook page for more updates.
Taco Joint
Located inside Board Culture in Liwliwa, Taco Joint is an authentic Mexican taqueria selling the best tacos and quesadillas in the area. The restaurant also sells delicious burritos, nachos, elotes, and churros, making it the perfect place to go for that Mexican hit.
Right across from Taco Joint is a bar serving bottles of beer and shots of hard liquor. The owner of the bar also gives fire dance performances during sundown.
Sunny Side Up Homestay
If you’re hoping to start your day right, the Sunny Side Up Homestay in Liwliwa serves the best breads and pastries, all of which are made fresh daily. In addition, they have a great selection of caffeinated drinks and fresh fruit slushies.
Mommy Phoebe’s Place
No trip to Liwliwa will be complete without a trip to Mommy Phoebe’s Place. Stories say the store first began as a “sari-sari store” and expanded into a restaurant after locals began asking the owner to cook delicious meals.
Mommy Phoebe’s is, by far, one of the most affordable food hubs in the area, serving large plates of pancakes, waffles, noodles, breakfast items, and other rice meals. Guests also need to try their fruit shakes, which are definite must-haves.
