This is a city in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is located on the Lake Champlain waterfront, at the confluence of the Champlain and Connecticut Rivers. Burlington is known for its progressive politics, its large number of art galleries, and its large number of parks and green spaces.
It is also home to the largest public library system in the state. The city also has a large number of cultural institutions, including several museums, a symphony orchestra, and a number of theaters.
