Calling all dinosaur enthusiasts! The small town of Vernal (also known as Dinosaurland), promises a unique experience for all ages!
The area got its nickname from the abundance of dinosaur fossils, footprints, and other prehistoric sites that were discovered by paleontologist Earl Douglas in 1909.
He established a quarry here during his excavations, which is now part of the Dinosaur National Monument, an area comprising thousands upon thousands of acres where visitors can go to learn more about the fascinating history of dinosaurs.
