Situated in Baja California, Mexico, Todos Santos is a hub for artists and writers, while its main sources of income are agriculture and tourism.
Todos Santos was founded in 1724 by Father Jaime Bravo, who was sent here to establish a permanent Mission in the area. The town was originally called Misión Santa Rosa de las Palmas, which was later changed to Todos Santos.
The town was built around the mission church, which still stands today as a well-preserved landmark opposite the town square.
Other attractions here include restaurants, cafés, art galleries, and a lively souvenir market.
There are also a number of opportunities for outdoor recreation, including surfing and swimming on the beaches and ATV rides into the desert.
