Old Telephone Exchange
The Old Telephone Exchange is best for couples and only one dog is allowed; if you plan to holiday here, and explore the woods through walking trails remember to keep your dog on a leash at all times.
The Old Telephone Exchange is on the Beaulieu Estate and is a truly unique New Forest lodge. The surrounding woods provide great opportunities for walking some idyllic nature trails. This cottage does not allow any dogs, but is great for couples wanting to discover some serenity.

This is another idyllic location on the river banks and only a 20-minute walk from the village. This New Forest lodge is a nature lovers dream and a fantastic location for bird watching. Spending quality time among nature, trees, and wildlife is an ideal escape from a busy life.
A forest holiday here will give guests easy access to a few outdoor adventures that can be enjoyed including day trips to Beaulieu Motor Museum and Estate or Bucklers Hard, or take a coastal walk down Solent Way from Lymington.
Kingfishers – West Wellow
Kingfishers is a great place for family forest holidays and we recommend around four nights at this cabin in order to experience the surrounding activities fully. Kingfishers sleeps four but are unfortunately not dog-friendly.
If you are looking for family holidays this holiday lodge in New Forest is the right place for you. Because this lodge is located on a farm guests and their families can enjoy morning feeds and interact with the on-site alpacas. Kids can also enjoy the on-site play barn which is stocked with toys and games to keep them busy for hours. Within easy reach are both the Peppa Pig World and the Romsey market town.
Treetops – Beaulieu
Treetops is ideal for families as it sleeps five comfortably, but unfortunately does not allow dogs.
This lodge in New Forest stands on stilts nestled between the trees next to the River Beaulieu. This cabin provides the perfect peaceful woodland getaway. Treetops is a gentle woodland cabin where guests can take morning cycle rides to catch some deer in their natural habitat, or to go watch birds dancing on the river.
